To become
a pilot, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) requires you fly a minimum of forty hours before you take your private
pilot check ride, however, this is only a minimum. The national average hours
a person has to get their license is 65 hours.
At Western Skies, our students have been averaging 45 hours to get their
license. We save you, on average, more
than $1000.00 over other flight schools, and offer the same (or better) flight instruction!

You might think obtaining your pilot’s license
is similar to getting your driver’s license. After training with a certificated
flight instructor you will take a written test and a combination oral and practical exam.
After you pass these, you may fly yourself and whomever you want, wherever
you want, whenever you want!
